Landscape construction is seasonal and the good slots fill early. Here is roughly how the year runs.
January to March — design and quoting
The quiet months. Site visits happen, quotes get written, plans get drawn, and April and May fill up. Anyone booking now is building first.
April to May — site work begins
As soon as the ground thaws and dries enough for machines. Spring clean-ups run alongside, and maintenance routes are set for the season.
June to September — peak build
The heavy construction months. A project booked in June is typically built in late summer rather than immediately.
October to November — finish and prepare
Planting goes in well, sod establishes, and the property gets prepared for winter. Snow contracts close.
December to March — winter service
If you want the yard finished for next summer, the conversation happens this winter, not next May.
