Driveways, walkways and pool decks where slip resistance matters and a busy pattern would be wrong.

What to know

Texture is set by the aggregate and the wash timing, so consistency depends on the crew. It is harder to keep clean than a smooth surface.

Winter

Grippy when wet, and it hides minor surface wear better than smooth concrete.

Whatever the material, the base under it and the water around it decide how it looks in ten years.
